Check out this awesomeness! June brings the fabulous work of Lisa Max to Mini Art Mart.
Lisa is a German engineered manufacturer of little handmade things. After completing a degree at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, Austria she moved to Perth, where she developed a taste for arts & crafts. She recently married a bear native to Western Australia and now lives in Perth on a permanent basis. (She still likes beer and soccer but thinks that Australia smells better.)
Lisa can currently be found at www.lisamax.at
For her month at Mini Art Mart, Lisa Max has done a collection of amazing character paintings. Exhibition runs through 30 June 2010.

Lift Off!
Mini Art Mart has officially begun! Huge thanks to all the people that turned out for the launch party, and there were a lot of you, it was super fun.

The first exhibition is a collection of prints of artwork that features in Issue 6 of Perth zine I Am Still In Yesterday's Clothes. The exhibition will run through May so you have plenty of time to pop down and check it out. All artwork is for sale, too.

The contributing artists are Tristan Fidler (pictured above), Leonie Brialey, Michael Lombardi, Kristinn Hermanniusson, Anne Barnetsen, Royce Alido and Janelle Mentesana.
The zine is also available for purchase at Ruck Rover General Store.

Call for Submissions
Mini Art Mart is due to start in May with an exhibition from I Am Still in Yesterday's Clothes, a local Perth based zine. Artwork will be by Tristan Fidler, the zine's creator, and other contributors to the latest issue. We are pretty excited!
