Isabelle Trolio might spend her days helping Claire run Ruck Rover, but in her spare time she likes to surround herself with papers and pens and paints and pencils and all sorts of colourful things.
This collection of paintings, entitled Ladies of Wolf Mountain was started on a super hot summer's day and was inspired by a tee shirt design she did a while earlier.
People keep asking her where the men of Wolf Mountain are, but she is not sure.

Jelena Maticevic
October brings some charming drawings from Jelena Maticevic.
During her working week, Jelena is a doctor, tending to sick babies and saving lives, but she spends her free time drawing pictures, baking cakes and going on bike rides. She was born in Croatia, and moved to Perth back in 1988. In recent years she's added Rotorua in New Zealand and Melbourne to her list of abodes, currently residing in the latter locale, though her love of this fine city in the west will surely see her settle back here before too long.
Jelena's style is a little whimsical and a lot of lovely, often featuring very characterful animals and people. A positive outlook is reflected through her artworks, yet she manages to represent a range of human emotion.
For Mini Art Mart, Jelena has created a collection of A5 drawings in pencil and gouache. Boy are they pretty! Some of the drawings are also available as limited edition prints.
They are on 110 GSM and 185 GSM, acid free paper.

Amy Wong
This September at Mini Art Mart we have an installment of Amy Wong's paintings. Her exhibition, entitled Cute as a Button, features two series of artworks. The first is a collection of five paintings with the theme of well loved, yet slightly off kilter toys. The second are the original paintings from an alphabet book she is writing and illustrating. She hopes to have the book ready and in Ruck Rover in time for Christmas.
Originally from Perth, Amy Angela Wong has recently joined the masses on the other side of the country in Melbourne to pursue her passion for the arts. She specialises in cute but morbid images with bright colours.
All her works exhibited at Mini Art Mart are original works painted using gouache and acrylic paint. They each come framed.

Lani Weston
Throughout August the work of Lani Weston will be on show in Mini Art Mart.
Lani has grown up in our fine city of Perth where she completed a commerce degree a few years back. Towards the end her creativity got the better of her, and on completion she remained at university to study graphic design.
She has simultaneously been working in design, even teaming with Ruck Rover to design a catalogue in 2009.
Lani's work covers a range of mediums, is often in large formats and animals and nature are common motifs. This exhibition features watercolour on canvas and pencils on paper. All artwork is ready to hang.

Esther completed an Advanced Diploma in Fashion and Textile Design in 2007. She recently spent some time in Paris but we are pleased to have her back in Perth furthering her creative pursuits here!
Esther has created a series of wall hangings from wood and rope, as well as resin cast flowers. She is also selling her mini zine in Ruck Rover for the duration of the exhibition.

Lisa Max
Check out this awesomeness! June brings the fabulous work of Lisa Max to Mini Art Mart.
Lisa is a German engineered manufacturer of little handmade things. After completing a degree at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, Austria she moved to Perth, where she developed a taste for arts & crafts. She recently married a bear native to Western Australia and now lives in Perth on a permanent basis. (She still likes beer and soccer but thinks that Australia smells better.)
Lisa can currently be found at www.lisamax.at
